Attorney Hadi Harp Joins Face of Justice Program with Wayne State University Pre-Law Students
On Friday, April 11, 2025, Attorney Hadi Harp once again volunteered with the State Bar of Michigan’s Face of Justice Program, continuing his commitment to mentoring future legal professionals and expanding access to the legal field for students in Southeast Michigan.
A Powerful Partnership with Wayne State Pre-Law
This spring’s Face of Justice event partnered with Wayne State University’s Pre-Law Program, giving students the opportunity to connect with practicing attorneys, observe real courtrooms, and explore pathways into law school and legal careers.
Morning at 36th District Court
The day began at 36th District Court in Detroit, where students were welcomed and guided through the security process before gathering for a formal welcome. The morning included courtroom tours and discussions with judges and court staff, offering students a firsthand look at the justice system in action.
Afternoon of Mentorship at Wayne Law
After the court experience, students traveled to Wayne State University Law School for a dynamic afternoon of mentorship and learning. The schedule included:
Lunch, welcoming remarks, and a court debrief
Jet Mentoring: Small-group sessions where students spoke with legal professionals and rotated between mentors
Soft Skills Presentation: Tips on communication and professionalism
Closing Remarks: Wrapping up the day with reflection and encouragement
Building Bridges to Legal Careers
